There a lot of different buffs in the game. For example, buffs that increase the craft speed or buffs that improve drop chance of a particular recourse.

Some buffs are given by a special temporary events in the game, some can be granted by special consumable items and some are permanent and granted by leveling up your profile or particular objects.
